Fast forward two years: her career took off like a freight train, her financial runway expanded, and so did our search radius. This house, the one Amanda and her fiancé Parker will call home, is straight out of a daydream. Ridiculous views. Thoughtful design. This place is a whole vibe.
The cherry on top was getting close to the sellers. The seller, Matt, and his lovely wife poured their hearts into the home, thinking it was a home base for their story, long-term. Life pulled them in a different direction, which - lucky for Amanda and Parker - meant a beautiful handoff of a deeply loved and beautifully remodeled home.
So last week, over 27 months after her search began, we closed on Amanda's first home purchase. If you think we popped a bottle of champagne and walked away with our commission check, you're not even close. This was a two-year journey of patience, strategy, texts, and zero paychecks along the way. That's right. Zero. Not all agents will hang in that long without making a dime.

I want to clear something up. Not every homebuyer wants - or needs - a long-term relationship with their real estate agent. Some people want to pop in, see a few houses, sign a bunch of documents, and poof - transaction complete. No strings attached. That is fine, but those aren't our people.
