I'm hearing some confusion about mortgage rates, so I'm here to drop a little knowledge.

This caused mortgage rates to temporarily rise. As of mid-September, 30-year mortgage rates in Denver have settled back down to around 5.89% - a nice drop from the 7% highs we saw earlier this year. While this is good news for buyers, it's also driving up demand, and with more people jumping into the market, home prices could start to rise again.
If you're thinking about buying, now might be the time to lock in a rate. Experts don't expect rates to drop back to the historic lows we saw a few years ago. Plus, with demand heating up, home prices could increase as well, making it a good idea to get in sooner, rather than later.
