Wow - The holiday season 3 years ago was AHHHHHMAZING!! This year is shaping up to be pretty dang awesome, too!
My heart is bursting with love for my life and all the incredibly awesome humans in it. 
It was three years ago when celebrations started hitting different for me.
Back then, I had just wrapped up a long, full, exhausting career in the medical device industry. The holiday season that followed was nothing short of EPIC. It was the first time in almost 20 years I got to do ALL the things - the parties, the concerts, the gift exchanges, the markets. No business travel, inbox emergencies, end of year push, stress, or other corporate related BS.
It was the beginning of something really, truly beautiful: my next chapter.
Since then, I've kept doing allll the things. If there is something I want to show up for - friends' Birthdays, family dinners, community events, networking nights, concerts that start way too late for a weeknight - I'm there! I definitely still work a TON (maybe even more than I did in corporate), but now I'm building something for ME...for US...for our family, our clients, our people.
I've never loved my life more than I do right now.
Leaving the familiar wasn't easy. It took every ounce of courage I had to walk away from something I knew so well - steady income, predictable routines, corporate healthcare 
, the illusion of "safety". But...on the other side was this whole other life waiting for me. A life where I've gotten healthier, sharper, and more connected. A life where I've grown in ways that corporate me couldn't have imagined.

We didn't simply want a job or a business for business's sake. We wanted a life that made us proud. We wanted work that felt like purpose. We wanted to work with people we could genuinely show up for - and who we could count on to show up for us.
